In my opinion relevance is the key to getting the perfect Google SEO link. Making sure your links are as relevant as possible will ensure you are gaining the maximum amount of effort from your Google efforts. In this article I want to talk a little about creating this relevancy and using it to benefit our sites.

The first step is choosing our keywords, pretty straightforward really, the second step is to take that keyword, optimise our page and the elements within it. The third step is to build the links, so what are we looking for.

The first thing to look for in a link is to get it from a page that is relevant to your content and when I say relevant I mean as relevant as possible. Does the title of the particular page your have found include the keywords you are looking for? Is the keyword used within the body of the site, in the images, are there other links to sites that have similar content to your own? If so then this is a good page to be targeting, regardless of the pagerank.

The second aspect you need to ensure is there, is your anchor text. The text you use to link back to your site. This text needs to be optimized with your chosen keywords. This is a powerful technique which is far more important to get right, even above Pagerank. Optimising your anchor text is the most important aspect of any link building you do and will yield results quicker.

There are few rules you will need to use with regards to optimizing you anchor text, don't simply anchor every single one of your links with the exact same anchor text, use different variations that include the keywords you are looking to be ranked for. If you do not do this your site may be flagged and penalized.

Follow these simple rules and your links will be as effective as they possibly can be and you will soon see results in your ranking within Google. Get as many of these links as you can and you will dominate your keyword term.

Here are some of the many work at home times I found over the first two years of researching and preparing to work as a freelance writer:

USE a MODEL

Study and read about those who blazed the trail before you. You will find numerous styles and approaches, with equally varied techniques and strategies, as told to you (in newsletters, on websites, in books, on tapes with work at home tips, specifically, etc.). Consider that which you feel and think will work best for you, your needs, your desires, and your skill sets (abilities and capabilities). Then, imitate that model, using similar steps and strategies. Do what works, according to those who have worked it!

PLAN AHEAD—FAR AHEAD

Make goals lists - short - and long-term goals lists. Make the lists complete with ideal outcomes, and as well, include things, people, and events or incidents that should be anticipated…and have a back up plan. But if you are smart, and if you take any work at home tips to heart, take this one: have some money in the bank, have a sugar daddy or mama, or work a part-time job that you can tolerate while your business kicks off. (It takes, on average, 3-5 years to determine whether your business will be a winner or a flop.)

ESTABLISH a REGIME

While one of my absolute favorite assets to working at home and for myself is that I do not have to submit to an alarm clock, I still wake up, eat breakfast, brush teeth, and dress (on good days). Normalize your workdays by acting as if…as if you still have to be at your job on time, as if you get regular and regulated breaks, as if you are a professional with clean hair, shiny teeth, and shoes that are on your feet instead of slippers.

HAVE THE SKIN of a LIZARD

Realize and embrace the fact that you are working a real job, even if it is in front of a TV set or overlooking a pond with deer and elk milling about. And convince others in the house of the same: no one is allowed to interrupt during work hours, just as if you were at a building downtown where they would not be allowed to ask you where the ketchup is, if you would iron a shirt, or whether you minded if they blew a few joints while listening to jungle drums at 200 decibels. Discourage aberrant and invasive behavior from family members, roommates, and clients…who will also try to test you as a child does, and not pay, or email you ten times in one hour to ask you how it’s going, or who will try to get you to do unnecessary, extra, revisionary work for free.

Ive been spending a lot of time on two new sites using wordpress as a blogging platform. Both sites are a gift niche and to narrow down the niche I decided to go with Vintage items.

Seems vintage items are all the buzz but I cant seem to figure out why. I guess I have lived throught the 70's and 80's once already and that was enough for me, however a large group out there finds that era interesting enough to spend their cash on vintage clothing, vintage toys etc......

Work At Home Programs To Avoid

Internet marketing is chock full of ways to make money online at little or no cost to you. There are hundreds of work at home programs that can earn you extra money while working from home.

However, many of them are schemes and products that will only having you spending money instead of making any. They were designed to make the owner rich, and only waste your time and hard earned money. Avoid these work at home programs if you really want to grow your work at home business and earn pure profit on the Internet.

Surveys

You may have heard about this work at home program. You may have even tried them before. Paid surveys are nothing but a tedious, time wasting way to make almost no money online. They will pay you almost nothing, if they pay you at all.

Why settle for peanuts when you can be earning $100 per sale with a high paying affiliate program? The only people that make money from paid surveys are the owners who are paid by the huge marketing research companies to handle the surveys you spend hours on for hardly any money. I have tried many paid survey companies and most either dont pay or pay very little.

Lotto and Free lotto

Now you and I both know that no one actually wins at these lotto games. Dont even bother hoping for those nice winnings because it will never happen. These systems are designed to at most give you a little payoff just to keep you playing and spending.

You will end up spending way more money on lotto than you will ever make. For even less time and money you spend on lotto, you could have a solid and growing online business bringing you commissions again and again.

Contests and Instant games

Games are another big time and money waster. Again, just like lotto. If anyone was cashing in on these free games then the sponsor would go broke. They make money on ads they place around the games online, but just like paid surveys, the possible money you can earn makes this another big a waste of time. Only one person wins each contest and it is highly unlikely to be you.

The time you waste filling out these forms, even if you do it like I did with an auto form posted like Roboform (which is useful in affiliate marketing and other ways as well) you hardly ever win anything besides a lousy $10 gift certificate or runner up coupon. Again, dont waste your time on these fake instant game or contest sites. You are much more likely to succeed working with a high paying affiliate program.

Casinos

Not only do online casinos waste your time by not winning you any money, you will most always end up losing money. This is not to mention how addicting and a problem casinos can be. Be careful with your money and do not fall for the get rich quick idea of online casinos.
If you do, you are only going to help the casino owner make money.

After all, he knows how often the system will pay back the players and do you think your winnings are in his favor? Of course not, the casino owner is only out to line his own pockets with your hard earned cash.

The occasional $5 or $10 you win is not worth the hours of playing and cash burning you are doing in the process. Your time is MUCH better spend. Use your time and money wisely and dont throw your money away for free.

Besides, who has money to just give away? Invest your money and time in higher paying affiliate marketing programs and you will see the light. You will also see that affiliate programs are where the real money is being made and not in the 5, 10, and 15 dollar winnings in the previously mentioned and so called ways of making money online.

With affiliate programs, people are earning on a daily basis commissions upwards of $70, $100 and even $175 per sale working from home. You will see results much faster without having to depend on some system that was programmed to give you money when and if it ever decides to. Instead, become the master of your own financial future and build your own real work at home business.
